Hold on to your hats!
Our new bear chinstrap hats would be great protection against the 30-mph winds we've had in the Midwest the last two days!
The super cozy fleece hats have chin straps that secure with hook-and-loop closure, and when strapped, they pull the hat close around the face to form a seal between the wind and snow and precious little ears.
The adorable hats are a great mix of form and functionality--warmth mixed with a cute bear ear look that transforms your imaginative infant or toddler into a furry bear cub. The shape of the hat is also great for adults who like more subtle fun than our crocheted Bear Ear Hats ($24) provide. The "ears" on the Bear Chinstrap Hats ($12) are more like peaks, giving the suggestion of ears and letting imaginations take over.
For older siblings who like the idea of having a bear hat but are too big for our toddler hats or too "sophisticated" to be wearing bear ears, our Paw Print Hats ($11), featuring an embroidered paw print, are the solution. Made of the same soft fleece as our infant/toddler hats, they can be worn with the brim rolled up or rolled down to cover the ears with fuzzy warmth.
It's fuzzy warmth they will appreciate. With the way today is going--sleeting and snow flurries in the morning--we'll have to introduce our new scarves on the blog tomorrow!
